I am a passionate student of yoga and enjoy sharing my passion with others.
I am a Certified Iyengar Teacher (CIYT). I have been learning and practicing Iyengar yoga for over 34 years. I have been teaching in the Iyengar method for 24 years.
Influenced by many of the senior Iyengar teachers in this country, I am grateful and deeply indebted to each one of them for the knowledge, inspiration and compassion they have taught me. As a student, I continue to learn, grow and reap the benefits from my teachers. I participate in weekly classes and workshops from teachers around the world.
I firmly believe that one must be constantly studying and learning to better understand and integrate the power of yoga and its teachings into ones body, mind and life.
I am an eternal optimist and believe that every body has the aptitude to benefit from the practice of yoga. Through my optimism and passion I want to stimulate and inspire the students. And create enthusiasm in each student for yoga and its potential on their body, mind and life.
When not engrossed in yoga I enjoy cooking, daily walks, traveling, reading a variety of poetry and spending time with family and friends. I am a huge Bruce Springsteen and Kdrama fan.
